Determining her total love of God, the Sister vows to bind herself to Him forever. Her religious life allows the Sister to grow in every aspect of spirituality and human life, through her faith, work, and interaction with the community. In imitation of our Mother Foundress, the Sister will be open and docile to the Spirit’s guidance to follow Christ more closely, enter into intimacy with Him, and fully share His mission. She will put her spiritual life in first place to discover a new way of being faithful to God and experience fully the responsibilities and requirements that flow out from the vows of chastity, poverty and obedience. This includes readiness to accept apostolic activity with zeal and complete dedication resulting from her response to God’s call. The Sister continually cultivates a constant thirst for the salvation of souls under the contemplative dimension of religious life. She will embrace an attitude of joy and peace in all situations of life. Formation lasts a lifetime, and we remain in the school of the following of Christ until death; there is no phase of life where we do not encounter new duties and demands, and we always are in need of guidance and encouragement. Permanent formation demands close attention to the signs of the Spirit in our times and sensitivity to such signs in order to respond to them appropriately in an attitude of continued conversion and renewal. Love always asks for more. |
