God’s call to Religious life…
I worked with a girl who spent time in the hospital with tuberculosis. After she was released from the hospital she told me that the Sisters looked after her so lovingly. That is when I started to think of Religious life for myself.

God’s call to become a Carmelite Sister D.C.J.…
Father Markle said that was the Order I should enter. I didn’t know of any Sisters, so I took his word and came to the Carmelites!

The discernment tip:
Listen to God. Pray about it and if it’s your calling you will know.

What makes me happy as a Carmelite Sister D.C.J.…
The peace. The first night I was in the convent the peace I felt was overwhelming and I knew I was in the right place.
