God’s call to Religious life …
When I was in grade 1, I asked townspeople for donations to build the orphanage. I liked the idea of working with orphan children as a Sister. Blessed Maria Teresa of St. Joseph accepted me when I wrote her a letter at age 15. But I had to wait until I was 18 years old.

God’s call to become a Carmelite Sister D.C.J. …
The Carmelite Sisters D.C.J. were the ones looking after the orphans. When I went to Zagreb as an aspirant, I was so edified by the prayers and singing of the Divine Office. It inspired me further to become a Religious Sister. In 1954, I came to Canada.
